 Pastor

Call:  A candidate for Pastor-Teacher of this Church, whether appointed by the current Pastor-Teacher and the congregation as provided below, or appointed by the Board of Deacons and the congregation, as provided in Article VIII, (Duties of the Deacons), shall be considered only after he has completed the Pastor-Teacher Candidate Questionnaire and agrees with the purpose and doctrinal positions stated in the By-Laws of this Church.

If the current Pastor-teacher is vacating the pulpit and is available to appoint the next pastor, he shall do so.  The procedure for the new Pastor-Teacher appointment by the current Pastor-Teacher will proceed as follows:

(a) Biblically, the new Pastor-Teacher candidate should come from his own congregation under the doctrinal concept of Pastors teaching others to teach others. If no candidate is available from within the congregation, the Pastor-Teacher shall look elsewhere for a replacement candidate.

(b) The new Pastor-Teacher candidate will fill out the Pastor-Teacher Candidate Questionnaire.
